Thanksgiving Look
So it has been a while since my last blog post...sorry about that! :) The past few weeks in NYC have been really crazy leading up to the holidays, but now I am so glad to be back home in South Carolina visiting family for Thanksgiving!
Wednesday Zach and I flew to Charlotte, NC and the rode with my mom, dad, and little sister to Charleston, SC to my older sister and brother-in-law's house. We were able to spend Thanksgiving day here in Charleston, and then will be driving to Anderson, SC tonight! We are cramming so much into this trip because we won't be back down south for Christmas this year. Instead, we will be in Wisconsin visiting Zach's family! On Sunday we will drive to Georgia to visit my grandparents, and then back to Anderson to fly back to NYC on Tuesday morning! AH!! :)
So back to Thanksgiving yesterday...it was incredible! My sister prepared an entire gluten free + vegan menu (not including the Turkey) because she is celiac. We had sweet potato casserole, mac n cheese, maple roasted brussel sprouts, and stuffing just to name a few. It was so delicious! We even had enough to have leftovers for lunch today. Let's be honest... I knew I would be eating a ton, so I wanted to wear something comfy but still look cute for family pics. I found this amazing skater skirt at Zara that I now want to buy in every color! I wore it with a boxy jacquard top and kneehigh suede boots with my new (and super comfy!) Kushyfoot tights. These boots are my latest obsession....and believe it or not I got them from Forever 21 for under $50!!!!
Zach and I snuck away to take these pics outside quickly before dinner, and were in a much different environment than where we normally shoot- ha! Hope you enjoy!
