Introducing my amazing little sister- TESSA!
Tessa was born and raised in Anderson, South Carolina. She is 21 years old, and currently attends Christian Leadership University and is double-majoring in Creative Writing and Christian Counseling. From a very young age, she always wanted to become an author.
When Tessa was only 16 years old, she got offered to publish her first Young Adult book called Purple Moon! Since then, Tessa has been speaking at several events to teens about her book and encouraging them to pursue the impossible. She is a huge advocate of going after your dreams at a young age, and is the perfect example of doing just that! She was a member on the Teen Advisory Board of Devozine, has worked as a teen columnist and editor for youth magazines, and has helped to edit and co-write multiple screenplays.
Tessa's career so far as an author is going very well, and she hopes to keep it up! Even though she is my little sister, I look up to her in so many ways. I truly admire her passion for writing and her persistent drive to push through whatever circumstances come up against her to fulfill her dreams. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes just last year but she hasn't let that slow her down one bit. She is truly inspirational! Her heart for others is evident in her writing, and her sweet demeanor is refreshing to be around. I cannot wait to see what all is in store for her in the years to come!!
