Metallic

Metallics, sequins, and all things glitter were covering the runway for SS17! From Rodarte, Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, and beyond-- it was one of those 'in your face' trends that we will definitely start to see trickle in stores more and more as we approach next spring. I have my girly moments for sure, but deep down I am for sure a tomboy at heart. I love nothing more than being comfortable, relaxed, and casual. I thought a fun way to rock the metallic trend would be in sneakers! These Adidas Original Stan Smith's had me hooked from the moment I saw them! Okay I have to be honest with you... I found these bad boys at a second-hand store called Crossroads!! I nearly had a heart attack when I found them, haha! They looked brand spankin' new and were just calling my name... ((even though they are actually about a half a size too small, I couldn't resist purchasing them!)) I wore them here with some boyfriend jeans, a dolman sleeve sweatshirt, and my new corduroy jacket. I love the subtle green color of this jacket, and think it is perfect for fall! It was such a fun + easy look to wear out and about this week. I'm sure it will be on repeat for a while... ;)
