Scallops + Stripes in Venice

As we are now at the very end of 2016, I realized that I still hadn't posted one of my absolute *favorite* looks from when Zach and I went to Venice this past October! I am working on a cool recap from some of our travels from 2016, but in the meantime check out this gondola-inspired look! And if you're anything like me, beware because these photos may make you want to book a flight asap and go dance in these gorgeous streets!

I had so much fun putting together this outfit! I packed it specifically for Venice because I wanted to shoot it while on a gondola ride... however, we went to Venice at the very end of our Italy vacation and gondola rides are pretty expensive, haha! So the venetian streets worked just fine to shoot this look! ;) I wore this super cute scalloped hem a-line midi skirt from Lucy Paris with my striped crop top from H&M to create this look. Then I added my double buckle belt from TopShop, H&M blanket scarf, and Steve Madden suede boots to complete it! ((Oh, and at the last minute I had to wear these basic black tights because we started shooting around 8am and it was pretty cold!)) It was so easy to get some amazing shots because literally every setting in Venice is picture perfect. Zach did such an amazing job capturing these photos because as you can tell, I could not stop twirling + dancing between ((and during)) pretty much all of these pics! :)

PS-- I had to sneak in a pic with Zach bc he's too cute!! Everyone always asks how we get pics of the two of us together when we travel, and 9 times out of 10 it's from using self timer, haha! #dowhatyougottado
