Girl's Weekend

This past weekend I flew to Minnesota for a girl’s weekend with some of the amazing women on my husband 's side of the family— his mom, sisters, and aunt! We don't get to see each other too often because we all live in different places, so we chose somewhere kind of in the middle and planned to spend the weekend with just us girls. :) We stayed in a super cute historic town called Stillwater, MN at a boutique-style bed and breakfast, Rivertown Inn. It was built in 1882 during the logging boom as a lumber baron mansion, and is now a Victorian-style elegant and romantic Bed and Breakfast! Every room is decorated so beautifully and luxuriously with each one telling a different story. We all felt like royalty just being there and had a lot of fun. Not to mention the 3-course breakfast that was prepared for us in the morning by Chef Joshua Furman was DELICIOUS!

My sister-in-law, Emma, was recently engaged, so it was the perfect opportunity to be able to go wedding dress shopping with her as well! We went to the cutest wedding dress store called Our Shop, and we actually found the perfect dress for Emma! Later on we also found bridesmaid dresses too! ((It was clearly a vey successful weekend.)) We spent the rest of our time eating incredible food, shopping at antique and vintage shops, and having amazing conversations. It was a much needed and refreshing weekend to spend with family! We are already planning our trip back for next year!

If you are ever looking for a quaint little getaway, I highly recommend checking out Rivertown Inn in Stillwater, MN! I know you won't regret it! :)
