NYC Easter Look

I remember as a little girl going Easter dress shopping with my mom and sisters. I looked forward to it every year! We were always on the lookout for the best sales at department stores like Belk and JCPenney, and of course we had to end our shopping spree at PayLess to find the perfect new white Sunday shoes. :) I would almost always end up wearing some kind of pastel floral dress or skirt, a massive white straw hat, and white sandals. This was the unofficial Easter Sunday standard in South Carolina at the time, and I loved it! However, when choosing what to wear to church in NYC for Easter Sunday, my outfit looks a bit different. 

The weather in NYC has been so unpredictable lately. I guess that is pretty typical for Spring. I thought I would freeze if I tired to wear a sleeveless dress this year, so instead decided to wear a long light-weight sweater and my leather jacket. These white cropped jeans are the ones I got on sale when Zach and I went to Cold Spring! They were originally $164, but I paid only $20!! I know I will be wearing them a lot this Spring and Summer! I love the way they fit, and the roll-cuff is super cute too. I'm also wearing one of my favorite wide-brim fedora hats, some ankle boots, and carrying my calf-hair handbag. 

I am so excited for church tomorrow at HillsongNYC! Easter is one of my favorite Sundays, and is such a great reminder for why I believe what I believe.
