Slip Dress + Tee

How has everyone's weekend been going?! Zach and I have been having so much fun playing tourist with his parents who are in town! Even though they have been to NYC several times now, there are always so many more exciting things to do + see! From the World Trade Center, to the new Westfield mall in the Oculus, to Tavern on the Green in Central Park, and exploring the Museum of Natural History— we have literally been everywhere this weekend! Now I just landed in LA for denim market week, but could not wait to share this cool look with you guys!

As I talked about in my previous post here, I have really been loving the 90's trend that has been happening! One of my favorites is wearing a slip dress with a tee. It's also such an easy way to transition a summer dress into a fall-appropriate look! You could easily add a denim jacket or a bomber to add another layer as we get further into fall. In this look, I wore my TopShop slip dress with a fitted white tee. I wasn't sure how it would look since this dress has so much going on in the back, but I actually really liked the way it turned out! There is no wrong way to replicate this trend. The contrast white on black makes the back detailing stand out even more! I accessorized the look by adding my favorite bandana, wool hat, + ankle boots. I shot this look while hanging out in Williamsburg with one of my all-time favorite photographers, Kelsey Cherry, who is based in Nashville!
