Friendspiration Friday: JESSICA

Introducing one of the sweetest and most uplifting people I've ever met-- JESSICA!

Jessica grew up in Orange County, CA. She graduated from FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) in Los Angeles and majored in Visual Communications. She can remember growing up wanting to see more of the world- and that's exactly what she set out to do! She lived in Tokyo for almost a year, Hawaii for 8 years, NYC for 2 years and is now is back in Huntington Beach, CA.

She describes her time living in New York City as, "a total dream come true- complete with working my dream job doing makeup for Carrie Keagan (the host of a live morning talk show on VH1), living in my dream luxury apartment building overlooking Times Square, and having dream NYC experiences." Jessica currently works as an incredible freelance makeup artist + hair stylist. She is also a writer, speaker and television Beauty Expert ((in fact, you can catch her on the new Tyra Banks' show- FABLife today on ABC!!)) 

I asked Jess if there are any big dreams she is working towards, and of course she had a lot to say!! "Always!!! I'm launching a social impact Beauty Brand that has everything to do with advocating on behalf of women world wide! I'm also working on a Beauty Educational Website with my two sisters who are also beauty experts (Maria is a master at Hair and is opening up her new salon in Huntington Beach called SALT + Rebecca is a skilled esthetician with a heart for living healthy.) Together we make a pretty great team- if I do say so myself."

Although it may seem like she has done it all, Jessica has worked super hard to get to where she is at today. She has an incredible work ethic, a go-getter personality, and jumps on almost any opportunity that is thrown her way! Her positive and bubbly personality draw people towards her, and she has favor wherever she goes! Her faith keeps her strong and rooted, and she has a heart of gold. Meeting Jess in NYC was a huge blessing in my life, and she has inspired me to go after my dreams because she truly believes in me!
